Sushma and a Buddha Garden's bed of basil
The basil gives seeds and leaves. The seeds are in the flowers of the plant. The leaves are used in pesto making, as a medecine plant and in cooking in general. The seeds are used to plant the basil.
- How do we harvest the basil seeds ?
First, important detail : when the basil grew up, we find young and old pieces. The young ones are green, the old ones are brown and dry. Only the old ones have to be collected. The following pictures illustrate the harvesting :
1. Take the flowers by the bottom - 2. Grap until top
